11月25日(月)〜27日(水)の３日間，本校では就実学園内および外部の教育関係者の皆様を対象に，今年度の授業公開Dayを実施いたしました。 期間中は多くの方々にご参加いただき，心より感謝申し上げます。 今年度は「自ら未来を切り拓くクリエイティブな就実の子」を育むために展開している 個人探究・教科探究・縦割り探究 の３つの探究学習から，計20本の授業を公開しました。 授業では，子どもたちが自分の問いに向かってじっくり考え続ける姿，仲間と意見を交わしながら解決の糸口を探る姿，iPadを活用して自分の考えを表現する姿など，探究に夢中になる様子が随所に見られました。 特に，今年度は「自分のための探究」から一歩進み，“誰かのために”という気持ちの広がりが多くの子どもたちに見られ，学びの目的意識がより豊かに育っていることが印象的でした。 また，授業後に実施した協議会では，先生方から「学び続けられる時間のデザイン」「子どもが挑戦したくなる環境作り」など，今後の授業改善につながる貴重な視点が寄せられました。 子どもたちの主体的な姿が見られた一方で，探究の質をさらに深めるための課題も共有され，教員自身も探究する教として学びを重ねる３日間となりました。 次回の公開は 2026年2月10日(火)第３回授業研究発表会を予定しています。「探究の，その先へ。」をテーマに，全10本の公開授業，前多昌顕先生による特別講演，ワークショップなどを実施予定です。詳細はまもなくご案内いたします。 これからも，就実小学校の探究の学びをどうぞお楽しみにしてください。

In Grade 2 Math, students are developing their inquiry skills by exploring real-world mathematical ideas. Recently, the class investigated foreign currency as part of our unit on money. Working in groups, students carefully observed bills and coins from different countries and compared them to Japanese yen. They looked for similarities and differences in size, color, symbols, and overall design. Each student was also challenged to identify three interesting design features on the foreign currency, such as portraits, patterns, security marks, or cultural symbols and explain why they noticed them. Students recorded their observations on Seesaw and shared their ideas through group and class discussions. Through this activity, students practiced asking questions, organizing observations, and communicating their thinking, all while gaining a deeper understanding of how money is designed around the world.

さわやかな秋晴れの中，参観日，教育講演会，アフタースクール参観日などを実施しました。参観授業では，１年生は生活科でつくったどんぐりのおもちゃでフェスティバルをしました。工夫を凝らしたおもちゃで盛り上がりました。２年生は英語劇Swimmyを披露しました。Englishや音楽で練習し，Artで被り物や衣装を作成しみんなで協力してつくりあげました。みんな堂々と演じ，演奏することができました。３年生は４月から各教科などで学習したことをグループで披露しました。それぞれ工夫した発表に大きな拍手をもらい，自信を深めました。４年生と５年生はWONDER Timeの参観をしていただきました。一人一人の興味に応じて探究を深めている様子をご覧いただきました。今後どのように深まっていくかたのしみです。６年生は理科とEnglishの授業でした。６年生らしく，楽しみながら集中して，積極的に学習に取り組んでいる用をご覧いただきました。 教育講演会は，教育アドバイザーで元追手門学院小学校講師の多賀一郎先生の講演をお聞きいただきました。子育てで誰しもが悩むようなことをエビデンスや具体例を挙げながら，今日からどのように子供に接するかとても参考になるお話をたくさんしていただきました。最後はロバート・マンチ作「ラブ　ユー　フォーエバー」（岩崎書店）の読み聞かせをしてくださいました。みなさんそれぞれ自分の経験と重なる部分があり，涙があふれる素敵な読み聞かせとなりました。 アフタースクール参観日では，ダンス講座の基礎練習を見た後，ステージできれのあるかっこいいダンスを披露しました。先生方のエキシビジョンも圧巻でした。ピアノの発表会は，いろいろな曲をがんばって練習したことがだれにも伝わる素敵な演奏でアリーナがあたたかい雰囲気で包まれました。ダンスもピアノも盛大な拍手に，子供たちは自信を大いに深めることができました。そのご緊張のほぐれた子供たちはアリーナでアフターの先生方が用意した楽しいゲームで盛り上がりました。 他にもスキー宿泊研修やＡＵＳ2026の説明会もあり，充実した一日となりました。ご参加くださった保護者のみなさま，ありがとうございました。

１０月２９日（水）午後から５年生は、就実中学校を訪問しました。 今回は、中学校３年生のHD（ハイグレード）コースの生徒と一緒に、英語を使ったゲームをして親睦を深めました。 ５年生の子どもたちは、最初は少し緊張していましたが、中学生たちの優しいリードのおかげで、すぐに打ち解けることができました。 英語のゲームでは、中学生がハロウィンにちなんだクイズを考えてくれており、それを５年生が解きました。 笑顔があふれ、楽しそうな声が教室いっぱいに広がりました。 最後に、５年生からの質問に答えてくれました。「どんな部活がありますか」や「就実中学校の楽しいところはどんなところですか」などの質問がありました。 短い時間でしたが、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。 この交流会を通じて、５年生の子どもたちは中学校への期待感を一層膨らませ、次回の訪問を心待ちにしている様子でした。次の機会には、さらに多くのことを学ぶことを楽しみにしています。

Hello, everyone! Half of our school year has already passed, and what an amazing journey it has been! We’ve learned so many new things and made lots of wonderful memories together in Grade 1. In math class, we have been busy exploring clocks and telling the time! We practiced using the phrases: • “What time is it?” • “It’s ~ o’clock.” • “It’s half past ~.” Students learned about the days of the week, the months of the year, and even how many hours make up one full day. We worked in pairs to set the clock and ask each other what time it was. One of our favorite activities was the “Telephone Time Game,” where we whispered the time to the next classmate — it was so much fun! Now, not only can we tell the time, but we can also read and write it correctly. In English class, we started using the Cambridge Level Up 1 book. The first unit helped us name and spell different classroom objects like eraser, pencil case, desk, and crayon. We even practiced saying these words correctly through our chants. We also learned about prepositions such as in, on, under, and next to. To make learning more exciting, we used a marker and a basket to show where things are. For example, “The marker is on the desk,” or “The basket is under the chair.” Everyone enjoyed showing and telling in groups! We have finished some parts of the book, but there’s still more to learn before we complete the first unit — and we can’t wait! Our Grade 1 students are becoming more confident in English every day! We’re improving in speaking, reading, and writing. Listening is still a challenge, but we’re making great progress and having fun along the way. At the start of our lessons, we love sharing stories about our weekends. We also talk about friends or classmates who are kind, brave, smart, or honest.
